Jax the American Staffy

I approached Keryn as I was having trouble working out how to deal with a few behavioural issues my staffy was having. It was anything from being over the top excited and jumping up on visitors and pulling their clothing and belongings, grabbing things from off the bench to lead pulling and anything else in between.

All I can say is I highly recommend Keryn. She has taught Jax (staffy) and I so much. I have learnt a lot about his body language and intent as well as ways to get on top of his behaviour and learn the signs of when he is about to do something that I should be correcting.

Keryn is patient and was always happy to answer the hundreds of questions I had for her each session. She is clearly experienced in what she does and is also passionate.

I highly recommend Keryn. I was not disappointed.

The 5 day Recall Challenge was fantastic. Keryn was fantastic. The challenge was fun and easy to fit into a busy schedule. Keryn provided good honest feedback and set interesting tasks that built on what we were learning. I've seen a huge improvement my dogs recall using her methods.

Would highly recommend.

My dog Pixie and I have just completed the 5 day recall challenge with Keryn. I highly recommend doing this. he strategy and technique Keryn taught me was a real game changer for us. After one week my dog is more responsive. And has given me the knowledge to keep training to give myself and dog a better life.

My 3yr old Kelpie girl Pixie an I have just finished the 8 week online Mischief to Manners course.

Working with Keryn was excellent. Keryn made learning easy and fun. The modules were easy to follow, and Keryn was always there to give advice on videos we sent in. Keryn was also there cheering us on each day.

Doing this course has given Pixie and I a much better life. I can now go anywhere with her knowing she will do as I ask. Since doing this course I have had people comment on how much calmer and what good manners Pixie has. Keryn has also proven you don't need treats to train. I would highly recommend this course.

Keryn was very patient when we asked her to help with Oreo, our quick growing and energetic black Labrador. "Good girl" was soon part of our vocabulary at Keryns suggestion and it is working. After each of her sessions and with her positive praise we are noticing a new family member fitting into our life.

Nothing was a task, even when a 72 year old nanny showed signs of being too soft, Keryn offered new solutions and ideas which are now part of our in home training.

Oreo is due for some surgery, but we are booking in both group training with a group Keryn suggested for my son to learn and experience more ideas and strategies, and then more in home training with Keryn for the oldies to keep Oreo and us on track.

We can’t recommend Keryn from A New Leash on Life highly enough. In just six sessions, we went from having a anxious dog who wasn’t safe to take out, to confidently enjoying busy walks as a whole family, including both our kids.

She gave us practical, easy to apply tools that not only improved our dog’s behaviour immediately but also equipped us to handle any situation moving forward. She tailored the training to suit our family’s needs, rather than taking a one size fits all approach.
